After Hours It opens with a surprisingly juicy, spicy freshness from green mandarin, green apple and cardamom. The apple gives a subtle fruity sweetness while cardamom immediately adds warmth.
The heart becomes more sensual with orange blossom, lavender and nutmeg. This section bridges the fresh opening into the much deeper base without making the fragrance overly floral.
The signature comes in the drydown: tonka bean, amber and leather. Tonka creates a creamy, vanilla-like sweetness, amber provides a glowing warmth, and leather adds a dark masculine edge.
